The setting is London, England. You are a member of King Henry VIII's court. The king is young and merry and Queen Katherine is beautiful and always smiling... yet a rank darkness lies beneath the outer coating of gold. The queen seems unable to produce an heir and the king grows anxious. Will he be able to put a son on the throne? Come and join the fight for the right to ride at the king's side. Become a favorite of the queen. Be showered with gifts. Or... watch your reputation crumble around you in your disgrace. Be sent away to the countryside to never be heard from again. It is this time when women were nothing more than tokens to barter with and a person's whole existence relied on the happiness of a single man that you now enter. Recommended Reading:	August Member of the Month: Lady Ellion Bloom: This decision was a very hard one to make, considering the fact that we have many active members, but I feel that I have made the right choice. Ellion is on almost everyday and despite the fact that she has been a member for only 16 days (if I did the math correctly) she already has over 100 posts. She has kept our cbox alive (which has been moved to the bottom of the forum, btw) and she has contributed to many interesting OOC discussions. Thank you for being active Ellion!
